This child loves music.
Today is Libi's first birthday (besides the one she was born)! Yesterday, the girls and Wooster 'helped' me transplant some things and dig up a spot in the yard to plant some clippings one of our new neighbors gave to me.
Brendan has been working on the swingset, and it is almost done? We either need more chain or less swingset, I think. Either way, we are going to attempt to have it ready for the royal birthday princess to go on her inaugural ride today or tomorrow.
Today, we are going to go to the farmers market to look at plants, and then to the zoo for Estella's last zoo class for this school year. We're hoping to make it to the carousel before it starts to rain so we can use up the last of our carousel tokens before our membership expires at the end of the month. If we make it, this will be Libi's first ride, so I'll be sure to get pictures of that.
Tomorrow we will be having a party for Libi / open house for those who have not yet seen our house. We are deciding between a seven layer dip or tuna salad for a party appetizer. Can you guess which one was Brendan's idea? He first suggested some sort of chicken dish, which I said would be too expensive in comparison with my seven layer dip idea, to which he rebutted with his, new, improved and thirifty suggestion.
