Eva had to go back to see her doctor for more tests. Her energy levels have been low, her appetite low (even for a toddler), she has circles under her eyes, funky stools, and just an overall blah. Unfortunately we had to go to phase 2 today, which involved taking blood for some tests. She made me cry - even one of the doctors was having a hard time.

Dr. Keown gave her a popsicle and a little stuffed animal as consolation. (I think it some sort of pig dressed in a chicken costume?) She is getting tested for common food allergies and celiac disease. Dr. Keown is leaning toward Celiac at this point, but we won't know anything for sure until early next week. That was just her gut feeling on Eva's symptoms, but of course we're both hoping that's not it.

She has definitely been sporting the withering look lately, as evidenced by the following photographs.
Libi doesn't think much of it all, so long as she gets to doodle.
Watch out the next couple of days for a big update on Estella's upcoming haircut! (Pictures of me crying will not be included.) Tomorrow is the big day...
