wind and spewing

Well, after flying high on the winds of freedom (or at least the scent of the winds of freedom) for five whole days, I have once again accepted my fate. Libi has decided that she would rather starve than take a bottle. We battled it out yesterday, and she won after 6 hours of refusing to eat anything. Then I felt guilty because early this morning she came down with the bug that Eva is just getting over, which involved throwing up in a fashion I have not seen in some time, and an up-and-down fever. Thankfully, Libi has not done anything except throw up once and no fever so far.

Brendan is getting set up today to get into the program in Nashville that prepares you for teaching. He is planning to substitute teach for the rest of this school year, while studying for the Praxis exams, then in the summer he will do an intensive certification program for about a month, where he will be given hands-on teaching experience, get certified, and then placed in one of the Nashville Metro schools. We aren't sure yet what our living situation will be for the duration of the in-between time, but we will most likely stay here for at least another month.

Emily and the kids are "in town" now, since Nathanael just left for the Air Force yesterday. They are staying at Andy and Hadassah's house, since they have the most room. We plan to see more of them as soon as we are able to leave the house.

Here is a moment from this morning. Eva woke up at 6am and snuggled with me for an entire hour before having breakfast and getting her hair fixed up (by Brendan).

I think Brenden needs permanent hair styling duty.
